Irving Heritage House tours

The April Irving Heritage House First Sunday Tours will be held on Sunday, April 8th. Open from 3pm-5pm with docent led tours at 3pm and 4pm, the Heritage House is located at 303 South O’Connor. Built in 1912, it is one of the oldest homes in Irving and is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. Admission is free and guests will receive a complimentary Irving history book.

Also available for tours is Mary’s Playhouse in the back garden area. It was built as a chicken coop and converted into a playhouse in the 1920’s. Many original toys are displayed from Mary and her brother Charles Schulze.
